Liverpool claim first U21 win at Palace

Liverpool recorded their first win of the Barclays U21 Premier League season on Bank Holiday Monday as they beat Crystal Palace in front of more than 1,500 supporters at Selhurst Park.
In an evenly-contested first half, Krisztian Adorjan put the visitors ahead with a curling free-kick from 20 yards out. Palace levelled early in the second period as first-team player Matt Parsons found the top corner with a fierce drive.
Liverpool restored their advantage through Jack Robinson and Michael Ngoo made the game safe with a tap-in to give the Reds on four points after their first two matches. Read a report here
